This digital art piece took me 3 days and nights to complete. I worked all night long for 3 nights, going to bed at 5:30 a.m. the following morning after one night-long spree, and falling into bed at 10:30 a.m. the following morning on another all-night marathon. Then after finally getting to bed, I was awoken by the telephone a few hours later. It was my friend wanting me ask me something about some Mac fonts we had installed on our systems the day before. She was seeing the font, Radioactive, where she should have been viewing Times New Roman and she wanted to know if I was seeing the same glitch. (as an aside, I'm a bit of a 'font-ophile', so if anyone knows where I can get my hands on gorgeous fonts, preferably for free ... let me know ...

I've been trying to write an essay to submit for a competition for a grant, but I was having trouble coming up with ideas, so I started this piece thinking that it would help spur my imagination and thoughts. I've not yet begun writing so I'm not sure yet if it worked.
