This one is mostly digital painting in Photoshop. Usually I do the majority of my art with bits and pieces of digital images, then afterwards shape them and add some painting. But on this one I wanted to see how much I would be able to do from scratch. It was an interesting challenge. Although I added some composited pieces after finishing the body, the majority of it is painted. I didn't use any reference image which made it for more challenging deciding where to lay down shadow, highlights and contour. But it took me about the same amount of time as the other method.
